Microalgae are an effective solution for the treatment and valorization of wastewater generated in hydroponic systems. In current context sustainability resource management, search ecological alternatives agriculture is essential. This study investigated use from systems, purified by microalgae, irrigation Pelargonium × hortorum. An experiment was designed under controlled conditions which different treatments were applied. Hydroponic leachates treated microalgae used at 100%, 75%, 50% (diluted using tap water), addition to water as a negative control nutrient positive control. The system established raceway photobioreactor, allowed proliferation that act bioremediators elimination pollutants removal nitrogen phosphorus. growth parameters, biomass, general health hortorum plants evaluated, complemented with physicochemical analyses carried out during experimental period. These showed obtained after purification process retained nutrients can be reused irrigation. results indicated irrigated significant improvements height, diameter, number leaves, leaf area, dry weight, flower weight compared those water. conclusion, shows means microalgal cultivation represents viable alternative ornamental such implementation this contributes both reduction optimal resources, establishing solid basis future research additional could incorporated balance studied.
