Due to the increasing shortage of freshwater resources and energy, solar-driven interfacial evaporation (SDIE) technology has emerged as a key solution for utilizing solar energy produce freshwater. However, certain volatile contaminants tend evaporate along with water vapor condense into This study combined contact-electro-catalysis (CEC) photocatalysis using enhance degradation efficiency pollutants. A FeOCl/TiO2/PVDF membrane based on CEC is designed evaluate catalytic performance crystal violet (CV) model contaminant. The exhibited rate ≈95% CV within 36 min. mechanism further verified by intermediate identification, quenching experiments, free radical detection. Under visible light, driven reactive radicals, such hydroxyl superoxide radical, which generated through dual electron transfer processes (from molecules FeOCl/TiO2 PVDF). Additionally, application droplet-based triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) proposed in SDIE system remove phenol seawater desalination. expanded applications TENGs provided strategy solve problem pollutant accumulation desalination systems.
