With the advent of internet technologies, accessing information has become remarkably facile, while concurrently precipitating copyright conundrums. This predicament can be ameliorated by embedding within digital images, a methodology termed image watermarking. Artificial intelligence optimization algorithms are extensively employed in myriad problem-solving scenarios, yielding efficacious outcomes. study proposes visible watermarking method utilizing Single Candidate Optimizer (SCO). Contrary to many prevalent metaheuristic algorithms, SCO, introduced 2024, is not population-based. The fitness function SCO designed maximize resemblance between watermarked and both host watermark images. Experiments were conducted on images commonly utilized processing, results evaluated using eight quality metrics. Additionally, obtained numerical juxtaposed with those from well-known widely-used genetic differential evolution artificial bee colony algorithms. findings demonstrate that outperforms others Furthermore, due its non-population-based nature, significantly faster compared counterparts.

When a natural scene is photographed using imaging sensors commonly used today, part of the image obtained sharply while other blurry. This problem called limited depth field. can be solved by fusing sharper parts multi-focus images same scene. These methods are fusion methods. study proposes block-based method Energy Valley Optimization Algorithm (EVOA), which has been introduced in recent years. In proposed method, source first divided into uniform blocks, and then blocks determined criterion function. By these fused obtained. EVOA to optimize block size. The function that maximizes quality as fitness EVOA. applied sets. experimental results compared with well-known Genetic (GA), Differential Evolution (DE), Artificial Bee Colony (ABC). show compete algorithms.
