Change of urban park usage as a response to the COVID-19 global pandemic

Abstract Urban parks became critical for maintaining the well-being of urban residents during COVID-19 global pandemic. To examine impact on park usage, we selected New York City (NYC) and used SafeGraph mobility data, which was collected from a large sample mobile phone users, to assess change in visits travel distance based 1) type, 2) income level visitor census block group (visitor CBG) 3) that (park CBG). Urban park accessibility assessment using human mobility data: a systematic review

The rise in human mobility data recent years provides a new frontier to understanding the spatiotemporal dynamics of urban parks. These offer profound merit study how accessible parks are through real-time analytics individual travel patterns and locations. Evaluating Visitor Usage and Safety Perception Experiences in National Forest Parks

Various physical and environmental factors affect the recreational experience in national forest parks. Understanding visitors’ preferences regarding these is significant for promoting mental health well-being of urban residents. This study aims to quantify residents’ usage patterns safety perceptions It focuses particularly on Santai Mountain National Forest Park Jiangsu, China, conducted a semi-structured questionnaire survey with 688 participants.
