This article explores the relationship between forest cover and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in Colombia using remote sensing techniques data analysis. The study focuses on CORINE land methodology's five main categories: artificial territory, agricultural territories, forests semi-natural areas, humid water surfaces. research methodology involves several phases of unified method analytical solutions for mining (ASUM-DM). Data COVID-19 are collected from Colombian National Institute Health Advanced Land Observation Satellite (ALOS PALSAR), respectively. is processed QGIS software. results indicate an inverse cases, as evidenced by Pearson's index ρ -0.439 (p-value <0.012).
