Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is a prevalent orthopedic disorder characterized primarily by compromised blood supply. This vascular deficit results in cell apoptosis, trabecular bone loss, and structural collapse at late stage, significantly impairing joint function. While MRI highly effective tool for diagnosing ONFH its early stages, challenges remain due to limited availability high cost MRI, as well absence routine screening asymptomatic patients. . In addition, current therapeutic strategies predominantly only relieve symptoms while disease-modifying drugs are still under investigation/development. Previously, lysosomes were primarily referred to as the digestive organelles and recycling centers within cells. Recent discoveries have expanded lysosomal functional scope revealed their critical roles in nutrient sensing, epigenetic regulation, plasma membrane repair, lipid transport, ion homeostasis, cellular stress response. Lysosomal dysfunction is also found be associated with aging several diseases. Therefore, function of macroautophagy, a lysosome-dependent intracellular degradation system, has been identified one updated twelve hallmarks aging. In this review, we begin by introducing concept quality control (LQC), which machinery that maintains number, morphology, through different processes such biogenesis, reformation, fission, fusion, turnover, lysophagy, exocytosis, permeabilization repair. Next, summarize results from studies reporting association between LQC dysregulation aging/various disorders. Cellular senescence has recently been recognized as a significant contributor to the poor prognosis of glioblastoma, one most aggressive brain tumors. Consequently, effectively eliminating senescent glioblastoma cells could benefit patients. Human ADP/ATP translocases (ANTs) play role in oxidative phosphorylation both normal and tumor cells. Previous research shown that sensitivity mitochondria‐targeted senolytics depends on level ANT2. Here, we systematically mapped transcript protein levels ANT isoforms various types tumorigenesis. We employed bioinformatics analysis, targeted mass spectrometry, RT‐PCR, immunoblotting, assessment cellular energy state elucidate how individual are expressed during development noncancerous observed consistent elevation ANT1 across all tested types, while ANT2 ANT3 exhibited variable changes.
