A Kármán vortex street, a fundamental yet fascinating phenomenon in fluid dynamics and nature, has attracted scientists for centuries. Despite numerous studies thoroughly scrutinizing the street both theoretically experimentally, few have explored influence of material interfacial properties on shedding. In this paper, we investigate effect roughness hydrophilicity lift force shedding areas induced by conventional stationary cylinder coated with various materials is used as bluff body to generate streets, an array piezoelectric sensors measuring force. The five representative are characterized. modified model, computational simulations, experiments analyze different interface materials. It found that surface synergistically affect frequency amplitude force, well onset position This study provides new insight into suppression or utilization street.
