Coatings play a crucial role in the speed and stealth performance of underwater vehicles. While cylindrical shell as an important component hull, studying acoustic scattering characteristics with coatings is indispensable work. A novel anechoic coating designed by introducing floating raft mechanism to reduce This paper comprehensively investigates characteristic using finite element method coupled boundary (FEM + BEM), particularly exploring effect made micro arrays. The results indicate that can effectively absorb detection sound waves peaks target echoes, due dissipation energy element. Moreover, surface displacement exhibit obvious attenuation. From perspective effect, mean strength average 7.17 dB (56% reduction active sonar distance) case monostatic detection. Even for multistatic which jointly receive echo, still reduces distance 28%.
