ABSTRACT The biogenic synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) with leaf extract Abution indicum was done, and those were characterized by ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy (UV–vis), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), dynamic light scattering (DLS), powder X‐ray diffraction (PXRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) transmission microscope (TEM) energy‐dispersive (EDX) spectroscopy. analysis UV–vis showed a peak 450 nm, DLS zeta potential utilized to determine the size distribution biosynthesized –AgNPs (AI‐AgNPs) range 24–37 38.096 o used confirm that crystalline structure AI‐AgNPs. Furthermore, antipathogenic effect synthesized AgNPs standard antibiotic ( Ciprofloxacin) as studied positive control in different types bacterial pathogens likes Staphylococcus aureus Escherichia Coli , zone inhibition values 9 mm. displayed excellent photocatalytic activity against reactive blue under sunlight than UV irradiation, maximum degradation 43% achieved 66 min reaction time. In view promising activity, could be photocatalyst for dyes wastewater, pomegranate can applied eco‐benign cost‐effective approach synthesis. Hence, current findings suggest Abutilon is valuable source tailoring toward various enhanced biological, photocatalytic, adsorption activities. Consequently, plant biological molecule‐mediated AI‐AgNPs contenders future therapeutic applications.
