Abstract The study includes preparations of compound N1 (hydrazinecarbothiohydrazide) that is yielded from reacting carbon disulfide with 80% aqueous hydrazine. resulting used to prepare N2 (MBHCH) by the treatment 4‐(methylthio)benzaldehyde. newly prepared Schiff base (N2). Furthermore, silver nanoparticles (N3) are reaction nitrate extract Stachys arabica leaves (reducing agent). Reacting gave N4. compounds characterized using various techniques FT‐IR, 1 H‐NMR, XRD and TEM. Moreover, DFT, ADMET, molecular docking examined for organic molecules. results prove scores −7.40, −5.83, −5.98 against tyrosyl‐tRNA synthetase ( S. aureus ), peptidoglycan glycosyltransferase E. coli AcrAB‐TolC efflux pump ).

Abstract The features of this work on corrosion inhibition have been investigated based the ecological awareness and according to strict environmental legislations. In this work, we have synthesized two new Schiff-bases from 2,2-dimethylpropane-1,3-diamine and n-hydroxy-n-methoxybenzaldehyde. The were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR. anti-corrosive property of the compounds investigated using weight loss, polarization EIS techniques against 1M HCl solution. For additional support for DFT studies also carried out Schiff-bases. surface morphology was examined AFM SEM to determine inhibition mechanism. Schiff-base derivatives found successfully suppress steel corrosion. showed that charge transfer resistance occurs because presence an inhibitor. Moreover, increasing concentration decreased double-layer capacitance (Cdl) value less charged species attracted metal surface. Polarization measurements clearly inhibitors suppressed both anodic cathodic reactions. conclusion, study demonstrates these inhibit corrosion via chemisorption organic compounds. By studying effects hydroxyl groups in ortho-, para- positions, best one as inhibitor be ortho position OH Schiff base (i.e., 6-SH).

The effectiveness of a copper(II) complex with Schiff base derived from 2-amino-4-phenyl-5-methylthiazole and salicylaldehyde (APMS) as corrosion inhibitor for XC18 steel in an HCl solution was investigated. Experimental findings indicated slight negative correlation between inhibition efficiencies 1 M temperature but positive both concentration immersion time, respectively. weight loss measurement revealed that APMS achieved maximum rate 92.07% at 303 K. A fitting analysis demonstrated adheres to the Langmuir adsorption isotherm. electrochemical results enhanced inhibitive performance APMS, efficiency increasing concentrations increased, ultimately reaching peak 94.47% 5 × 10–3 mol L–1.
