This study explores the green synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) using Tamarix chinensis extract, known for its hepatoprotective and anti-inflammatory phytochemicals. The ZnONPs were synthesized ZnSO4 NaOH, resulting in an average size 125 nm, as confirmed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed a hexagonal crystalline structure. UV-Vis spectroscopy showed absorption peak at 360 corresponding to bandgap 3.37 eV, making these suitable controlled drug delivery systems. antioxidant activity T. extract was evaluated DPPH assay, demonstrating 80% inhibition free radicals 500 µg/mL, surpassing potential ZnONPs. antimicrobial efficacy evidenced minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) <50 µg/mL against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus. Additionally, exhibited antiproliferative with IC50 20.80 MCF-7 breast cancer cells, highlighting their biomedical applications. These findings suggest promising multifunctional role biosynthesized healthcare technological innovations.
