Herein, a new biocomposite was obtained by loading bacterial suspension of Escherichia coli onto chitosan matrix to produce unique (chitosan – E. coli) with effective properties for biosorption malachite green dye from water. The physicochemical characteristics the were studied employing XRD, FTIR, FESEM-EDX and pHpzc. optimisation conditions achieved using Box-Behnken Design (RSM-BBD) assess effect variables on removal: dose (0.02–0.1 g/100 mL), pH (4–8) contact time (10–300 min). optimal removal (84.3%) 0.1 mL, 160 minutes 8. equilibrium kinetic experimental findings show follows Langmuir pseudo-second-order models, respectively. maximum adsorption capacity (qmax) 164.7 mg/g, where mechanism attributed several effects such as hydrogen bonding, n-π interactions, electrostatic attraction. Thermodynamic analysis indicated that process spontaneous endothermic, positive enthalpy change (ΔH° = 40.9 kJ/mol) negative Gibbs free energy (ΔG°) at all tested temperatures. adsorbent exhibits favourable cationic is anticipated have utility remediation effluent in industrial wastewater.
