A
nanocomposite
adsorbent
of
cross-linked
chitosan-adipic/zirconia
nanoparticles
(CHI-ADI/ZNPs)
was
successfully
formed
through
the
modifying

naturally
occurring
polymer
(CHI)
with
nanoscale

(zirconia,
ZrO2),

subsequently
subjected
to
an
ionic
cross-linking
technique
facilitated
by
adipic
(ADI).

Crystal
violet
dye
poses
significant
environmental
and
human
health
risks
due
to
its
toxicity,
persistence,
bioaccumulative
nature.
It
contributes
potential
carcinogenicity,
cytotoxicity,
systemic
toxicity
upon
exposure.
To
address
this
issue,
a
novel
SrCO3/MgO/CaO/CaCO3
nanocomposite
was
synthesized
using
the
Pechini
sol-gel
method,
producing
AE500
AE700
at
500
700
°C,
respectively,
for
efficient
removal
of
crystal
from
aqueous
media.
X-ray
diffraction
(XRD)

crystalline
