ABSTRACT
This
study
assessed

biodegradability
of
flexible
film
and
its
components.

Recent

in
PVA-based

use

fields,
including
packaging,
biomedicine,
wastewater
treatment.
This
review
offers
comprehensive
analysis
of
the
latest
innovations
PVA
applications,
emphasizing
their
role
as
sustainable
material,
particularly
through
development
nanocomposites.
The
addition
nanoparticles,
cross-linking
agents,
combinations

enhanced
mechanical
strength,
antibacterial

UV-blocking
