The construction field currently suffers from low productivity, a lack of expertise among practitioners, weak innovation, and predictability. digital twin, an advanced technology, empowers the sector to advance towards intelligent transformation. It ultimately aims for highly accurate simulation achieve comprehensive optimization all phases project. Currently, process twin applications is facing challenges such as poor data quality, inability harmonize types that are difficult integrate, insufficient security. Further research on application twins in domain still needed accelerate development promote their practical application. This paper analyzes commonly used architectures literature summarizes technologies implement architectures, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, mining, cyber–physical systems, internet things, virtual reality, augmented reality applications, considers advantages limitations. focus this centered entire lifecycle project, which includes design, construction, operation, maintenance, demolition restoration phases. Digital mainly moving integration information, model automation, system control, security privacy. present management challenges, privacy protection, technical manpower development, transformation needs. Shape memory polymers (SMPs) and their composites have broad application prospects in multiple fields due to unique shape effects. However, they still face challenges accurately controlling the recovery process, improving stability of loops, achieving manufacturing complex shapes functions. At present, theoretical models, molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, additive technologies been widely applied. Theoretical models MD simulations provide foundations at both macro micro levels, respectively. Meanwhile, by combining SMPs with manufacturing, some structures can be produced. Purpose Amid rapid technological progress, the construction industry is embracing Construction 4.0, redefining work practices through emerging technologies. However, implications of 4.0 technologies to enhancing well-being are still poorly understood. Particularly, challenge lies in selecting that critically contribute enhancement. Therefore, this study aims evaluate well-being. Design/methodology/approach A list was identified from a national strategic plan on using Malaysia as case study. Fourteen experts were selected fuzzy Technique for Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The expert judgment measured linguistic variables transformed into values. Then, collected data analyzed following analyses: TOPSIS, Pareto, normalization, sensitivity, ranking performance and correlation. Findings Six critical well-being: cloud & real-time collaboration, big predictive analytics, Internet Things, building information modeling, autonomous augmented reality virtualization. In addition, artificial intelligence advanced materials recommended be implemented simultaneously very strong correlation exists between them. Originality/value novelty comprehensive understanding findings can assist researchers, practitioners policymakers making well-informed decisions select when targeting enhancement overall local industry.
