Symmetric snap-through buckling, although both theoretically achievable and practically advantageous, has remained rare in bistable systems, with most studies favoring asymmetric snapping due to its lower energy barrier. Previous observations of symmetric have been limited high loading rates. In this work, we present a universal strategy achieve under quasi-static conditions by designing magnetization (M)–interface patterns that effectively suppress modes. A simplified theoretical model demonstrates behavior results from the interplay between pitchfork saddle-node bifurcations, predictions validated through simulations experiments using hard magnetic elastomers. Resisting forces generated multiple M-interfaces counteract snapping, enabling distinct configurations. Extending approach higher-order uncover quasi-linear scaling law critical fields order. These findings establish robust framework for systems enhanced control predictability, as demonstrated mechanical-magnetic switch, paving way advanced applications precision engineering magnetic-mechanical actuation.
