Abstract Purpose Lack of adequate physical exercise is the main reason for frequent occurrence health problems among Chinese college students. The purpose this study to explore effects control beliefs on cardiovascular fitness students and mediating role subjective experience adherence in it. Methods Control Belief Scale, Subjective Exercise Experience Scale (SEES), Adherence were used investigate 1854 freshmen sophomores Nantong Suzhou, China. Cardiovascular data from National Student Physical Health Standard SPSS 23.0 statistical analysis software carry out statistics analyses questionnaires. Correlation analysis, regression mediation models assess beliefs, experiences, adherence, fitness. Results belief was directly related (effect value: 0.121), effect through not significant, indirectly 0.101), 0. 019). positive prediction significant (β = 0.267, P < 0.001), still 0.121, 0.01) after adding intermediary variables (subjective adherence). Conclusions only affected by but also chain adherence. Therefore, it necessary improve their level enhance health.

Abstract Objectives The aim of this study was to examine the associations adolescent cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF), muscular (MF), and speed‐agility (SA) with middle‐aged cardiometabolic disease risk explore sex differences. Methods This 45‐year prospective cohort examined between objectively measured at adolescence (12–19 years) physician‐ascertained diabetes mellitus, elevated blood pressure (BP), coronary heart reported either in early (37–44 or late (57–64 middle age, self‐measurement waist circumference (WC) age. Fitness measurements for healthy adolescents baseline included CRF (1.5 km [girls] 2 [boys] run), MF (standing broad jump, sit‐ups, pull‐ups [boys], flexed‐arm hang [girls]), SA (50 m dash 4 × 10 shuttle run). Logistic regression general linear models were adjusted sex, body mass index (BMI), involving data from least one follow‐up measurement ( N up 1358, 47% males). Results Adolescent inversely, regardless adiposity, associated age accumulated burden conditions whole sample = 562, ß −0.10, 95% confidence intervals [CI] [−0.18, −0.03], p 0.006), BP females 256, OR 0.71, CI [0.51, 0.91]). Overall, we observed stronger than males. An inverse association WC observed, but it did not show as consistent CRF. Conclusions In study, fitness, particularly CRF, inversely 45 years. Promotion youth may be beneficial preventing adulthood diseases.

Takotsubo syndrome (TTS) is an acute transient nonischemic cardiomyopathy often characterized by its hallmark feature of left ventricular apical ballooning. The correlation between racial backgrounds and the prognosis individuals with TTS remains poorly defined. Our study aimed to explore influence race on trends, clinical presentations, outcomes in patients diagnosed TTS.
