Background of the Study: Cardiopulmonary fitness is a major component healthy life and it fundamental physical psychological wellness. Healthy persons can raise their metabolic rate markedly producing energy required for continuous exercises. CPF exercises assist body development more effectively well-enhanced to handle ADLs tasks. It also reduces possibility several chronic diseases. This study aims evaluate awareness knowledge cardiopulmonary among therapy students in Karachi. Methodology: A cross-sectional survey was conducted at physiotherapy institutes. sample 230 selected via non- probability purposive sampling technique. Data collected using self-designed questionnaire derived from literature, its validity pilot testing done prior survey. Consent taken after explaining study’s objectives. Participants were asked fill out questionnaire. Results: The majority (66.9%) had fair fitness, only 12.6% well aware CPF. 82.6% 80.4% knew about exercise’s nature mode respectively. Regarding frequency duration 24.3% 31.3% respectively, accurately 32% how differ general Only 27% muscle fiber type used 82.2% participants consumption mechanism Conclusion: outcome this shows that there lack inconsistency related Majority not students.

This review focuses on the emerging evidence for association between non-exercise fitness testing, estimated cardiorespiratory (eCRF), and metabolic risk factors. Given challenges associated with directly measuring (CRF) in large populations, eCRF presents a practical alternative predicting health risks. A literature search identified seven relevant cohort studies from 2020 to 2024 that investigated of hypertension, hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, obesity. consistently demonstrates an inverse relationship higher lower incidence risks, which is line CRF studies. It highlights importance low as primordial indicator risks underscores potential broader application. Future research directions should include exploring eCRF’s predictive ability across diverse populations outcomes testing its real-world applicability healthcare public settings.

BackgroundMost Australian adults are insufficiently physically active, creating an economic and moral imperative to support exercise care in general practice. ObjectiveTo provide overview of practice sustained solutions for patients living with chronic disease. Given the global high prevalence of MASLD and its poor CVD prognosis, it is essential to perform risk stratification for patients. The specific impact High Sensitivity Troponins (hs-cTn ) on mortality in patients remains unexplored. NHANES databases from 1999 2004, which include data high-sensitivity cardiac troponin (hs-cTn) levels comorbidities, were linked with most recent dataset. Myocardial injury was determined using 99th upper reference limits (URL) hs-cTn. Our study included 3460 mean follow-up duration 192 months, during 1074 (23%) participants died all-cause mortality, 363 (7.3%) mortality. findings indicate that elevated hs-cTnT (> URL) exhibit increased risks [adjusted hazard ratio (aHR) = 1.93] (aHR 2.4). Similar results observed hs-cTnI, where aHRs 2.03 2.97, respectively. Furthermore, we identified a nonlinear dose-response relationship between hs-cTn (P nonlinearity < 0.001). suggest can predict MASLD, aiding clinicians risk-stratifying this population. Therefore, recommend considering detection individuals effectively assess their future risk.

Abstract Background Participating in recommended levels of physical activity (PA) is critical for preventing functional decline, falls, and frailty, making it essential to identify older adults not meeting national PA guidelines. However, guidance on assessing adult levels, particularly clinical settings, lacking. This article presents an overview clinically feasible assessment tools adults, identifies gaps current tools, provides recommendations addressing these gaps. Methods We conducted a literature review suggested modifications existing patients, highlighted opportunities integrating the modified tool settings. Results identified 16 used The most widely Physical Activity Vital Sign (PAVS), which has been successfully integrated into several electronic health records (EHR) practices. Most including PAVS, primarily focus aerobic activities, with limited consideration strength balance. recommend use Modified PAVS Older Adults that includes items muscle‐strengthening balance activities better align then broad implementation within Conclusions Widespread integration will support healthcare providers identifying individuals recommendations, assisting them prescribing tailored prescriptions connecting their patients appropriate resources professionals further support.
