A Cu–Cr–Ca nanocatalyst was developed for transesterification of non-edible amla oil. Bifunctionality the catalytic reaction is explored,and RSM optimized process yielded 92% oil biodiesel, providing a sustainable fuel alternative.

Biofuels, including bioethanol, biogas, biohydrogen, and biodiesel, as well microbial fuel cells, are extensively recognized sustainable energy alternatives to fossil fuels.
