The intestinal microbiome is essential in regulating host muscle growth and development. Antibiotic treatment commonly used to model dysbiosis of the microbiota, yet limited research addresses relationship between gut microbes yellow-feathered broilers. In this study, Xinghua chickens were administered broad-spectrum antibiotics for eight weeks induce suppression. We investigated relationships using 16S rRNA sequencing transcriptomic analysis. Results indicated that antibiotic significantly reduced body weight, dressed eviscerated breast leg weight. Microbial diversity richness duodenum, jejunum, ileum, cecum decreased. relative abundances Firmicutes, Actinobacteria, Bacteroidetes declined, while Proteobacteria increased. This microbial imbalance led 298 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) tissue, which 67 down-regulated enriched skeletal development, including MYF6, MYBPC1 METTL21C DEGs primarily involved MAPK signaling pathway, calcium ECM-receptor interaction, actin cytoskeleton regulation, nitrogen metabolism. Correlation analysis showed dysregulation cecal had most substantial effect on Furthermore, DNMT3b mRNA expression lowered overall DNA methylation SAM levels, induced changes impacted study demonstrates microbiota influence thereby associated with

Abstract The high recurrence rate of renal uric acid stone (UAS) poses a significant challenge for urologists, and potassium sodium hydrogen citrate (PSHC) has been proven to be an effective oral dissolution drug. However, no studies have investigated the impact PSHC on gut microbiota its metabolites during therapy. We prospectively recruited 37 UAS patients 40 healthy subjects, which 12 completed 3-month pharmacological intervention. Fasting vein blood was extracted mid-stream urine retained biochemical testing. Fecal samples were collected 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene sequencing short chain fatty acids (SCFAs) content determination. exhibited comorbidities such as obesity, hypertension, gout, dyslipidemia. richness diversity significantly decreased in patients, Bacteroides Fusobacterium dominant genera while Subdoligranulum Bifidobacterium poorly enriched. After intervention, there reduction size accompanied by serum increased urinary pH levels. abundance pathogenic bacterium downregulated following whereas upregulation observed SCFA-producing bacteria Lachnoclostridium Parasutterella , leading elevation butyric content. Functions related synthesis amino metabolism within showed correlation analysis revealed positive association between clinical factors formation, negative with SCFAs contents. Our preliminary study that alterations crucial physiological adaptation Targeted regulation SCFA holds promise enhancing drug therapy efficacy preventing recurrence. Key points • identified capacity after intervention

Background The disorder of uric acid metabolism is closely associated with gut microbiota and short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) dysregulation, but the biological mechanism unclear, limiting development acid-lowering active polysaccharides. Konjac glucomannan (KGM) could attenuate metabolic disturbance modulate microbiota. However, relationship between still unknown. Methods In this study, fecal samples were provided by healthy volunteers hyperuricemia (HUA) patients. Fecal from was regarded as NOR group. Similarly, 10% HUA suspension named Then, supernatant inoculated into a growth basal medium containing glucose or KGM, designated NOR-GLU NOR-KGM groups, while HUA-GLU HUA-KGM groups. All cultured in an anaerobic bag system. After fermentation for 24 h, collected further analysis composition intestinal microbiota, SCFAs concentration XOD enzyme activity. Results results showed that KGM be utilized degraded subjects, it structure their to more resemble addition, superior modulated effect on increasing Megasphaera , Faecalibacterium Lachnoclostridium Lachnospiraceae Anaerostipes Ruminococcus levels decreasing Butyricicoccus Eisenbergiella Enterococcus levels. Furthermore, solution inhibitory xanthine oxidase (XOD) activity, which might due metabolites such SCFAs. Conclusion conclusion, subjects investigated based vitro . present study. It found metabolized At genus level, decrease relative abundances significantly increased addition KGM. SCFAs, responsible inhibition Thus, exhibited probiotic function expected promising candidate remodeling

Introduction This study investigated the effects of rumen-protected sulfur-containing amino acids (RPSAA) on rumen and jejunal microbiota as well metabolites meat quality longissimus lumborum (LL) in Tibetan sheep. Methods By combining 16S rDNA sequencing with UHPLC-Q-TOF MS Pearson correlation analysis, relationship between gastrointestinal microbiota, muscle was identified. Results The results showed that feeding RPSAA can increase carcass weight, abdominal fat thickness (AP-2 group), back AP-3 group) water holding capacity (WHC), texture, shear force (SF) LL two groups also increased although fatty content brightness (L*) value significantly decreased AP-2 group. Metabolomics analysis further could influence purine metabolism, thereby affecting L* SF. In addition, beneficial for fermentation jejunum. both groups, abundance Prevotella 1 , Lachnospiraceae NK3A20 group UCG-003 ND3007 Eubacterium nodatum Mogibacterium jejunum increased. contrast, Turicibacter pathogens reduced. above microorganisms regulate by regulating (inosine, hypoxanthine, linoleic acid, palmitic etc.) metabolism. Discussion Overall, reducing levels crude proteins diet is likely to improve sheep, addition RPMET (AP-2) yielding best edible quality, possibly due its ability subsequently metabolites.

In modern livestock farming, the strategic application of amino acid supplements is essential for enhancing animal health and productivity. This study investigated whether N-carbamylglutamic (NCG) could mitigate pre-slaughter transportation stress in sheep its effects on mutton quality. The administration NCG prior to transport was found improve carcass characteristics, reduce cooking loss, enhance meat Although did not significantly alter structure rumen microbiome, it affect functional profile. Analyses plasma muscle metabolomes revealed significant changes due transportation, particularly with supplementation. Notably, key compounds such as 16-Methylheptadecanoylcarnitine, Octadec-6-enoylcarnitine, Palmitoylcarnitine were identified regulators stress. Additionally, acids Glycyl-tyrosyl-glycine Tyrosyl-alanyl-glycine contributed protein synthesis, thereby assisting mitigation preserving health. These findings support role

Myofibers play a crucial role in both locomotor function and the quality of animal meat, Lactobacillus paracasei inhabit gut host ultimately benefit that host. This current investigation explored combined effects MBH3-2 slightly acidic hypochlorous water (SAHW) on growth, serum biochemical indicator muscle fiber characteristics mice. Experimental groups received 108 colony-forming units (CFU) for 42 days. It was observed combination Lb. 10 mg/L SAHW had positive impact body weight with 7.6% improvement over control group (P<0.05). There were positively influenced fibers mice, LB/SA10 showing 29.5% increase myofiber diameter 125% average area compared to group. Additionally, expression levels MyHCI, MyHCIIa, MyHCIIx mRNA elevated, while MyHCIIb downregulated. Key regulators myofibril type transformation, such as PGC-1α, MEF2C, GLUT4, exhibited increased expression. Furthermore, activities SDH MDH LDH activity reduced comparison These results suggested MBH3-2/10 complex induced shift from fast-twitch slow-twitch fibers, activated relevant genes, enhanced key metabolic enzymes.
