Infectious
diseases
are
largely
preventable,
yet
they
continue
to
pose
a
significant
threat
public
health,
particularly
among
vulnerable
populations
in
developing
countries.
Basic
hygiene
practices,
especially
hand
and
skin
hygiene,
have
been
shown
significantly
reduce
the
risk
of
cross-transmission
infections,
including
those
caused
by
multi-drug-resistant
organisms.
In
light
growing
global
concern
about
antimicrobial
resistance,
there
is
an
urgent
need
review
reinforce
these
practices.
This
study
provides
general
overview
role
that
practices
play
decreasing
infectious
conducting
comprehensive
review.
Multiple

databases,
Google
Scholar,
Scopus,
Web
Science,
were
searched
using
relevant
keywords
such
as
“hygiene
practices”,

ABSTRACT

recent
studies

microbiome

pathogenesis

dermatitis

Atopic
dermatitis
(AD)
