Solid-phase microextraction (SPME) has been widely proposed for the extraction, clean-up, and preconcentration of analytes environmental concern. Enrichment capabilities, efficiency, sample throughput, selectivity in extracting target compounds greatly depend on materials used as SPME coatings. Supramolecular have emerged promising porous coatings to be extraction due their unique selectivity, three-dimensional framework, flexible design, possibility promote interaction between coating by means multiple oriented functional groups. The present review will cover state art last 5 years related based metal organic frameworks (MOFs), covalent (COFs), supramolecular macrocycles applications.
