Abstract Background Nanocomposites made of nanoscale materials may be employed to create innovative drug delivery systems that interface better with biological membranes and selectively deliver drugs specific cells for targeted personalized treatment. Due its versatility usage in construction, marine, car, aerospace, defense, disciplines, nanocomposites research is expanding. Many researchers are introducing nanoparticles the matrix improve their qualities. Main body abstract As categorized into polymeric, metallic, ceramic nanocomposites, performance characteristics improved by different sophisticated top-down bottom-up preparation methods including situ polymerization, intercalation techniques, sol–gel, hydrothermal. These can used applications such as controlled release, within cells, pH-responsive which take advantage tumor microenvironments. They efficacy cancer therapy modulating immune system through an checkpoint blockade, PD-1/PD-L1. The composition polymeric metallic formulations incorporating them briefed this work, along justification preference over other conventional composite materials. Characterization techniques study X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, transmission Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetry, differential calorimetric summarized depth.
