For the first time, dendrimers based on thiacalix[4]arenes bearing imidazolium dendrons one side and alkyl fragments another of macrocyclic platform symmetrical with four both sides were synthesized. Dendrons consist gallic acid-based branches functionalized triazolium groups. The physicochemical properties such as micellar concentration (CMC), size, solubilization capacity measured. Novel exhibit high binding efficiency calf thymus DNA (ctDNA) revealed by fluorescence quenching DNA-EtBr complex in presence macrocycles. Dendrimers have been used supports for Pd nanoparticles, which show catalytic activity reduction nitroaromatic compounds.
