Abstract In this study, a novel green hydrophobic deep eutectic solvent (DES) composed of oleic acid (OLC) and betaine hydrochloride (BET) was synthesized applied for the extraction Sudan IV dye from natural water food samples using ultrasonic-assisted dispersive liquid-phase microextraction (UA-DLPME). DES system, OLC acted as hydrogen bond donor (HBD), while BET served acceptor (HBA). Key analytical parameters, including pH, molar ratio, sonication centrifugation times, initial final sample volumes, were studied optimized. The DES-UA-DLPME method exhibited rapid efficient process, achieving equilibrium within 1 min at room temperature. demonstrated excellent performance with limit detection (LOD) quantification (LOQ) 0.75 2.48 µg kg −1 0.914 3.047 L samples, respectively. method’s preconcentration factor (PF) enrichment (EF) 40 35.8, respectively, an acceptable recovery (AR) 87–104% across various matrices. linear dynamic range (LDR) 0.1–600 correlation coefficient ( R 2 ) 0.995. precision method, expressed relative standard deviation (RSD), 4.9% n = 6).
