A localized conversion of aluminum into transparent oxide by droplet-scale anodization is demonstrated in this work. The anodized region can be contained and controlled on the basis electrowetting response droplet. highly uniform spot was achieved using an voltage 2 V for 10 min. We analyzed chemical evolution during formation layer X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, which revealed dynamic interplay between Al(OH), AlO(OH), Al2O3 dissolution process. dominant presence oxide/hydroxide after observed. morphological characteristics exhibited a reduction surface roughness as time increased. Additionally, randomly distributed nanopores observed samples. diffraction results amorphous nature produced layer. This technique extended to other metal oxides, providing environmentally friendly cost-effective fabrication route toward sustainable electronics related applications.
