Objetivo: Analisar o estado emocional e classificar os sintomas de ansiedade depressão em mulheres que sofreram abortamento espontâneo durante a pandemia da COVID-19. Métodos: Trata-se um estudo abordagem quantitativa, do tipo descritivo, exploratório corte transversal. O foi realizado uma maternidade rede pública Pernambuco, onde 57 foram entrevistadas através questionários sociodemográficos, obstétricos Escala Ansiedade Depressão. Os dados analisados descritivamente por frequências absolutas percentuais, nas variáveis categóricas utilizou-se: média, desvio padrão mediana variável idade. Tais tabulados pelo programa Microsoft Excel® 2016. Resultados: Durante período internamento hospitalar mais 70% 10% das expressaram, nesta ordem, sentir tristeza medo. Respectivamente 19,3% 12,3% classificadas com prováveis depressão. Conclusão: Apesar maioria manifestar presença sentimentos negativos, sugestivos estavam presentes apenas pequena parcela espontâneo. Esses contribuem para visibilidade tema proposto, vez expõe as fragilidades encontradas no público estudado, modo identificar atender suas necessidades tanto físicas quanto psicológicas.

Abstract Introduction Anxiety is the most prevalent mental health condition in perinatal period and may be experienced more by rural remote pregnant women, who, compared with urban counterparts, have fewer available less access to maternity care services. Background: Antenatal depression is common and has significant consequences. The literature suggests that antibiotic exposure may be associated with depression. Many individuals are exposed to antibiotics during pregnancy. Further investigation of the association between antenatal use development pregnancy needed. Methods: A national prospective observational cohort study pregnant was undertaken using an online survey, completed third trimester. depressive symptoms (ADSs) were defined as having Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale score ≥13 and/or receiving a clinical diagnosis Results: One in six (16.5%, n = 977) experienced ADSs their pregnancy, whom 37.9% received diagnosis. There no relationship ADSs. Four factors identified independent predictors ADSs: personal history depression, severe nausea vomiting causing inability eat, emotional abuse from intimate partner within prior 12 months, not university degree. Conclusions: Given high incidence undiagnosed new strategies models care prioritise risk required optimise care.

The sample was 83 who made ANC visits Polanharjo Community Center data collection instruments were questionnaire on respondent characteristics, DASS-21 questionnaire, Multidimensional Scale Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) questionnaire. statistical test conducted having univariate, bivariate, multivariate analyses. The COVID-19 pandemic was, and continues to be, uniquely experienced by women in the perinatal period their families. Whilst long-term impacts of are unknown, exposures pregnancy early life have across life-course future generations. objective this manuscript was explore how pregnancy, postpartum parenting experiences a subset participants from 'BABY1000' cohort Sydney, Australia, were affected pandemic, associations between these state anxiety. Mixed methods used. Participants requested complete an online survey including State-Trait Anxiety Inventory short form (STAI-6), followed invitation participate focus group discussions (FGDs). From September November 2021, 88 parents completed (mean age 33.5 years, 60% born 58% primiparous). Twenty-two participated FGDs. Six themes identified regarding experience parents: (1) Maternal support, (2) Family relationships, (3) Stress mental health, (4) Healthcare, (5) lifestyle routine, (6) Long-term impacts. mean STAI-6 score 40 (SD 12.3), representing high High anxiety significantly associated with concern feeling overburdened lonely. public health orders impacted participants' experiences. included some unexpected positives, for many, outweighed negative on social behaviours, family relationships. Abstract Background Prenatal ultrasounds form an important part of routine maternity care in Australia and indeed internationally. The COVID‐19 pandemic necessitated rapid changes society healthcare to curb transmission, with evidence demonstrating detrimental impacts on childbearing women associated these restrictions. Objective: This study aimed to measure sequential rates of obesity, gestational diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome, and anxiety, depression, antidepressant treatment in pregnant women Australia between 2008 2022.
