Abstract Herein, we have scrutinized the influence of vitamin B3 (nicotinic acid) and its isomer isonicotinic acid at varying concentrations on micellization properties 1-tetradecyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide [C 14 mim] [Br] a given temperature range 298.15–308.15 K to further explore their advancement in medicinal chemistry. The behavior ionic liquid surface was determined using tensiometry, while conductivity, steady-state fluorescence, UV–visible spectroscopy were used determine bulk. Six biobased ionic liquids were prepared from saturated fatty acids (octanoic, decanoic and dodecanoic acids) choline with yields up to 90% following procedures respecting green chemistry principles. These fully characterized (NMR, IR, elemental analysis, viscosimetry TGA) used as extraction solvents for bioactive compounds (curcuminoids carvacrol) using classical conditions, the able be recovered after five runs without loss of activity. The liquid containing a C12 carbon chain was best extracting solvent, 95% total curcuminoids contained in turmeric 69% carvacrol oregano, which are higher compared described literature. As more cytotoxic than C8 ones, biological activity extracted evaluated on MIAPaCa-2, pancreatic adenocarcinoma cell line antitumor had previously been reported. Compared cytotoxicity commercially available extract, extracts slightly weaker.

The study examined the interactions between a deep eutectic solvent (DES) containing choline chloride (ChCl) along with ethylene glycol (EG) in molar ratio of 1:3, and three carboxylic acids: acetic acid, propanoic acid butanoic acid. structural stability, electrical characteristics dynamic behavior these DES-carboxylic systems were investigated utilizing techniques like density functional theory (DFT), natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. results showed that addition acids DES framework had substantial impact on distribution electrons molecules system. More specifically, presence longer alkyl chains caused more significant disturbance hydrogen- network DES. This was observed through alterations electron localization function (ELF) noncovalent interaction (NCI) investigations. yielded useful insights into design implementation DESs, including improving their stability reactivity targeted interactions.
