In this study, the solubility of 4,4′-dinitrodiphenyl ether (DNDPE) in 14 monosolvents (N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAC), 1,4-dioxane, methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, n-butanol, 1-methoxy-2-propanol (PM), 2-methoxyethanol (MOE), anisole, acetonitrile, acetone, acetic acid, and ethyl acetate) was determined by gravimetric method temperature range from 283.15 to 323.15 K under atmospheric pressure. The DNDPE increases with increase all monosolvents. At same temperature, roughly follows order DMAC > DMF 1,4-dioxane anisole acetone acetate acetonitrile MOE PM acid n-butanol ethanol methanol isopropanol. experimental data were correlated modified Apelblat model, van't Hoff NRTL λh model. average relative deviation models is lower than 5%. results show that solvents can be well these four models. addition, model provide better correlations for data.
