Abstract As a semiconductor material, titanium oxide (TiO 2 ) nanocrystals have unique optical, electrical, and chemical properties. Its applications been found in many promising areas, including photovoltaics photocatalysis. In this work, TiO nanocrystal powders prepared from hydrolyzed tetraisopropoxide (TTIP) successfully synthesized. The effect of the temperature reaction during hydrolysis process on phase formation was investigated. appropriate amount (20 ml) TTIP dissolved distilled water (10 ml). This aqueous solution stirred at various temperatures such as room temperature, 40, 60, 80°C under atmospheric pressure for one hour respectively, left 24 hours. precipitate collected dried until were obtained. calcined 600°C 3 observation results show that synthesized Titanium using calcination impact thoroughly examined, revealing increases, transformation pure rutile to rutile-anatase takes place. Moreover, presence anatase leads reduction intensity peaks, suggesting decline crystallinity may also be linked crystal size phase.
