The flotation separation of fluorite and calcite by using various metallic ions including Cu2+, Al3+, Pb2+, Fe2+ Fe3+ as surface regulation agents was systematically investigated in this research. A great gap value 58.12% between the recovery could be obtained simply introducing (300 mg/L) pretreatment with NaOL (80 collector no extra depressants used at slurry pH=6. Furthermore, SEM-EDS, FTIR XPS techniques were employed to uncover differential mechanism. findings indicated that relatively clean smooth without obvious corrosion ions. However, components such hydroxide basic carbonates formed attached onto due existence OH- CO32- a result dissolution calcite. In particular, compound on after or more evenly tightly than Al3+ pretreatment, thus forming dense passivation layer significantly hinder subsequent adsorption OL- surface, resulting greater difference performance two minerals consequent higher efficiency.
