As a non-renewable resource, oil faces increasing demand, and the remaining recovery rates in existing fields still require improvement. The primary objective of this study is to investigate impact pore structure parameters on distribution residual after polymer flooding by constructing digital network model. Using model, visualizes post-flooding state model with 3DMAX-9.0 software employs range simulation methods, including detailed analysis size, coordination number, pore–throat ratio, wettability, quantitatively assess how these affect recovery. research shows that change sizes leads decrease cluster-shaped an increase columnar oil. An number increases core permeability reduces oil; for example, when from 4.3 6, rate 24.57% 30.44%. ratio causes more remain throat; 3.2 6.3, total decreases 74.34% 63.72%. When wettability changes oil-wet water-wet, type gradually difficult-to-drive-out film-shaped easily recoverable cluster-shaped; proportion water-wet throats 0.1:0.9 0.6:0.4, water 35.63% 51.35%. Both qualitative quantitative results suggest developed effectively predicts under different structures provides crucial basis optimizing strategies.
