Abstract This research investigates the influence of functionalized reduced Graphene Oxide ( f ‐rGO) on thermo‐physical properties nano Calcium carbonate (CaCO 3 ). The nanocomposite was developed by altering wt. % ‐rGO (3 %, 4 and 5 %) as filler into CaCO through an in‐house portable ball mill that is a novel environmentally friendly method. Numerous characterizations were employed to determine effect morphological, structural, thermal, optical characteristics ‐rGO/CaCO nanocomposite. doped with shows minimum bandgap energy 1.49 eV. Furthermore, thermal degradation shifts toward higher temperature range 566–702 °C, crystallinity improved incorporating . Nano has average crystallite size 86.08 nm while doping reduces 67.99, 54.92, 49.81 nm, respectively. Thermal conductivity 40.90 diffusivity enhanced 1.924 mm 2 /s when ‐rGO.
