ABSTRACT The synthesis of a trinuclear Co(II)‐based coordination polymer (CP), [Co 3 (HL) 2 (H O) 6 ·2.2H O] n (1) , was achieved via solvothermal method involving CoCl ·6H O and 3‐(2,4‐dicarboxylphenyl)‐2,6‐dicarboxylpyridine L). photocatalytic efficiency the complex evaluated for degradation various antibiotics ornidazole (ODZ), nitrofurantoin (NFT), dinitroaniline (DNZ), tinidazole (TDZ) in wastewater. Notably, NFT exhibited remarkable 91.5% within 20 min under optimal conditions. catalytic performance influenced by amount photocatalyst, concentration, solution pH, with conditions identified at 6‐mg catalyst dose, 30 mg/L pH 7. Trapping experiments highlighted roles superoxide hydroxyl radicals as primary active species process. Furthermore, magnetic behavior is also discussed detail.
