The design of anti-corrosive magnetic metal microwave-absorbing materials is crucial for enhancing the environmental compatibility and service life military objectives in practical applications. Modifying microwave absorbers with dense, inert hydrophobic coatings an effective approach. Herein, CI@BTSA@OTMS composite were synthesized using improved sol-gel method 2-benzothiazolylthio-succinic acid (BTSA) trimethoxy (octadecyl) silane (OTMS) as precursor materials. corrosion resistance mechanisms investigated both experimental research theoretical calculations. Electrochemical results affirmed that composites exhibited exceptional anti-corrosion potential (Ecorr) shifted positively to 0.05 V, current (Icorr) was low 1.1 × 10−7 A/ cm−2, protection efficiency reached 99.91%. a higher non-wetting property contact angle 138.9°. After 720 hours exposure natural salt spray test, still retained relatively intact morphological compositional characteristics.
