Abstract In this study, graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets were chemically modified by attaching polyaniline (PAN) nanoparticles to their surfaces, creating a partially reduced composite (PAN@PRGO). This synthesized PAN@PRGO nanocomposite serves as an innovative and highly effective adsorbent for removing indigo carmine (IC) dye from water. The morphology chemical composition of analyzed using various techniques, including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), photoelectron (XPS), confirming the successful grafting PAN onto GO surface. Batch adsorption tests showed that has outstanding capacity dye, achieving 490.0 mg g −1 at pH 5.0 298 K. is notably higher than alone (317.25 ) exceeds other materials reported in literature. Additionally, demonstrated 100% removal efficiency IC concentrations up 300 L . experimental data closely matched Langmuir isotherm model pseudo-second-order kinetic model, suggesting electron-sharing interactions between contribute mechanism. adsorbed was recoverable 0.1 M NaOH solution, with retaining near-100% even after five adsorption–desorption cycles. These results indicate promising, reusable industrial wastewater.

UiO-66-NH2 is a metal–organic framework (MOF) with open metal sites, making it promising candidate for adsorption and catalysis. However, the powdery texture of MOFs use toxic solvents during synthesis limit their application. A novel solution to this issue create layered porous composite by encasing MOF within flexible structurally robust aerogel substrate using safe, eco-friendly, green such as ethanol. The fibrous aerogels, characterized desirable macroscopic shape cylindrical block hierarchical porosity, were synthesized two approaches: in situ growth amine-functionalized crystals on TEMPO-oxidized cellulose nanofiber (TOCNF) ex crosslinking onto TOCNF network form UiO-66-NH2/TOCNF. incorporation into nanofibrils via method reduces aggregation potential, alters nucleation/growth balance produce smaller crystals, enhances mechanical flexibility, evidenced SEM images. three adsorbents, including UiO-66-NH2, UiO-66-NH2/TOCNF, used study. effects pH, time, temperature, initial concentration studied. maximum capacity (Qmax) 549.45 mg/g Congo Red (CR) 171.23 Orange II (ORII) was observed at pH 6, 10 mg UiO-66-NH2/TOCNF 40 °C contact time 75 min CR 2 h ORII. both dyes primarily occurs through monolayer chemisorption main removal mechanisms hydrogen bonding surface complexation. noteworthy coupled environment-friendly fabrication techniques indicates its potential applications large scale real wastewater systems.

The remediation of dye pollutants remains a concern in contemporary water management practices. Hence, the need for efficient and cost-effective techniques removal from wastewater. In this study, epicarp Raphia hookeri fruits was treated with orthophosphoric acid enhanced porosity efficiency uptake Indigo carmine (ICD). Treated fruit waste (RHPW) presented morphologically distributed pores as well high Branneur-Emmet-Teller (BET) surface area 945.43 m2/g. RHPW displayed functional groups suitable adsorption. maximum ICD observed at pH 5 while (qmax) 20.41 mg/g concentration range 2-10 mg/L. Freundlich isotherm Pseudo-second order kinetics well-described equilibrium data respectively. This indicated multilayered Dubinin-Radushkecich model energy value 40.82 kJ/mol, indicating chemical ridge regression, Lasso Elastic net statistical models were used to establish positive relationship between various adsorption operational parameters studied. provided best result based on estimated mean squared error. RHPW-ICD system more favorable room temperature, decreased temperature rise. findings established an economical sustainable precursor preparation potent adsorbent removal. can find possible application wastewater treatment.

Abstract Biodegradable (green) materials have been gained momentous attention and extensively used for environmental restoration as a result of recent legislations. The current study involved treating Pithecellobium dulce seed pod (PSD) powder with acetic acid to look examined the possibility using treated P. (PD) remove Reactive Red 195-A from its aqueous solution. material was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), differential thermal analysis (DTA), thermo gravimetric (TGA). Different constraining factors, such dye concentration, temperature, contact time, solution pH, sorbent dose were batch adsorption trials. Further, Freundlich Temkin, alongside Langmuir equations employed analyze different isotherms. results showed that Temkin isotherm found be validated experimental findings on RRD prepared adsorbent. exposed adsorbing process tailed pseudo-second order kinetic model, demonstrated correlation coefficient R 2 greater than 0.90. According thermodynamic investigations, endothermic took place spontaneously. suggested PD plant might cheaper substitute chemical adsorbents dyes.
