Abstract In order to design better carbon capture materials, MIL-101 (Cr) was prepared using hydrothermal method, and then modified with different concentrations of choline chloride in a one-step method enhance its CO2 adsorption capacity. The characterization experimental results indicate that the ChCl-MIL-101(Cr) has significantly enhanced capacity for CO2. Specifically, 0.075-ChCl-MIL-101(Cr) shown 61.191% increase compared raw material. Moreover, regenerated loss rate material is below 4%, which proves permanence synthesis.By simulating isotherms Langmuir Freundlich equations, non-uniformity surface bonding obtained. Therefore, this study opens up new avenue designing MOF based materials advanced gas properties.

Layered double hydroxides (LDH) are compounds with unique structures of hydroxide functional groups on their surfaces, and they have the proper arrangement divalent trivalent cations to adjust catalytic actions. LDH was synthesized utilizing co-precipitation technique thermally treated at 300 °C. The prepared were chemically structurally elucidated using FT-IR, XRD, SEM, BET, TG-DTA, XPS characterization. We found that thermal treatment magnesium/nickel-LDH resulted in dehydration dehydroxylation its chemical structure. crystallinity, surface area, pore volume formed meso- micropores improved considerably after treatment. efficiency uptake process increased from 84 97% process, adsorption tracked Freundlich isotherm pseudo-second-order kinetic model. kinetics indicated occurrence three stages, diffusion dye molecules into pores rate-determining step. Different real water sample treatments showed applicability Mg/Ni/Al-LDH under optimized conditions. presented mechanism comprises several interactions between Mg/Ni/Al-LDH. study new application for as-prepared forms Congo-red (CR) textile effluents.
