Testicular cancer (TC) is common in men aged 14 to 44 and has been increasing for the past two decades. The Siddha practice of medicine contains many herbo-mineral formulations treatment. One such formulation <i>Vaalai Rasa Mezhugu</i>, it widely used treat various cancers including testicular cancer. But scientific proof therapeutic efficacy Mezhugu</i> not available. Hence current study was carried out evaluate anti-cancer property using TM3 cell lines, by estimating its antiproliferative activity through MTT assay Apoptosis annexin V flow cytometry. findings revealed a dose- dependent cytotoxic effect (LC50 value-4.2163µg/ml), significant late apoptotic (52.90%). These reveal utility Future clinical will be conducted safety human subjects which turn highlight role as novel drug from Traditional medicine.

Detection and monitoring of hazardous CO2 gas are essential for ensuring human health environmental safety, which form part Goal 13 the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Metal-organic square complexes in thin-film forms explored this work first time as sensors. Two new Ni(II) metal-organic grid [Ni(HL)]4Cl4·26H2O (1) [Ni(HL)]4 (BF4)4·20H2O (2) were achieved by self-assembly, utilizing 1,5-bis(2-benzoylpyridine) thiocarbohydrazone (H2L) building blocks. The formation a molecular [NiHL]44+ unit containing four octahedrally coordinated centers complex 1 was confirmed single crystal X-ray diffraction (SCXRD). Complex 2, conversely, yielded crystals complex, [NiL]4 (2a), from its DMF ethanol mixture. MALDI mass spectral study indicates that metallosupramolecular units stable solution, while thermogravimetric reveals rigidity cationic structures their solid states. solvent accessible pore volume 1952 Å3 (≈18.2%) accordance with TG result 18.1% weight loss up to 272 °C. Hirshfeld surface used void analysis. BET areas 2 observed be 2.390 4.803 m2 g-1, respectively. experimentally solid-state band gap energy ∼1.45 eV, revealing semiconductor characteristics. Thin films both these then developed using drop casting process employed sensing, hosts consist many secondary amine groups. Both demonstrated sensing capability towards gas, found improve further under white light illumination. responses 31% 59% sensors engineered limit detection reliable 500 ppm. thin film sensor working chemiresistive mode outperformed counterpart when operated sensor.
