Abstract Amidst the increasing problems of water scarcity and textile pollution, wastewater treatment industry is in dire need affordable adsorbents. The needs to find cost-effective ways mitigate its environmental impact, as it a major cause pollution. Abstract Silver-zinc-nickel spinel ferrite was prepared by the co-precipitation procedure with precise composition Ag 0.1 Zn 0.4 Ni 0.5 Fe 2 O 4 for bolstering pollutant removal effectiveness while upholding magnetic properties and then coated a mesoporous silica layer. Aiming at the pollution problem of methylene blue dye wastewater, a new type adsorbent magnesium-modified fly ash (Mg@FA) was prepared by using solid waste as raw material. Abstract Selective adsorption plays an important role in the resource utilization of dye wastewater. Hydrated calcium silicate (CSH), as ideal material, is successfully compounded on surface polypropylene (PP) fibric by quasi‐solid‐phase method, and porous film formed PP fabric. The contact angle fibers changed from 130.7° to 62.4° due hydrophilic characteristics CSH polyvinyl alcohol. for dyes shows obvious selectivity, removal ratio methylene blue can reach more than 90%, while there almost no methyl orange. selectivity be attributed electrostatic interaction between dyes. contains anion chains, resulting a large number negatively charged sites distributed surface, which may main reason cationic through interactions. investigation kinetics that formation coordination bonds will also lead further enhancement capacity.
