The study considers ways to increase the efficiency of reduction iron oxides from man-made waste (dust electric arc furnaces) using mechanochemical activation (MCA), grinding and pressing. analysis chemical phase compositions dust samples was carried out, which made it possible identify their potential for processing. experiments included a effect pressing at pressures up 300 MPa on materials’ composition, as well an assessment effects coke addition during MCA. To pressure processes, briquettes were fired temperature 1200 °C. results showed that degree metallization increases with in pressure: concentration metallic reaches 19 % MPa, is higher compared 17 initial state without novelty work lies optimizing parameters demonstrating its process. proposed conditions make processing waste, can be used improve environmental economic components production.

In the search for technologies and materials to improve safety efficacy of active ingredients used in treating diseases, layered double hydroxides (LDHs) have been proposed as drug carriers since they can enhance effects even reduce toxicity. Doxorubicin (DOX) is one most widely studied antitumor drugs due its broad spectrum; however, low plasma bioavailability slow systemic clearance, only a small fraction reaches acts on tumor, so LDHs vehicles solve these disadvantages. Novel spirane organoboron complex, SO2-pp, composed of highly electron-accepting dibenzo[b,e][1,4]thiaborinine 5,5-dioxide scaffold and 2-(2-pyridyl)phenolate ligand exhibits moderate-to-strong fluorescence in solution solid state. Photophysical properties this system strongly depend on the conformation molecule. Specifically, due to semi-labile nature moiety as well asymmetric character ligand, two distinctive conformations can be distinguished. Their occurrence state is regulated by crystallization conditions leading formation polymorphic phases exhibiting sky blue (SO2-pp-α, λ = 446 nm, ΦF 70 %) green (SO2-pp-β, 489 36 emission, respectively. crystal structures, stability photophysical were comprehensively studied DSC, single-crystal XRD variable-temperature PXRD. Periodic DFT calculations showed that lattice energy SO2-pp-β polymorph 28 kJ‧mol−1 more favoured (7 per molecule, optimization periodic boundary conditions) owing efficient intermolecular interactions structure. In contrast, molecule kinetic SO2-pp-α phase adopts stable (energy difference 4.7 kJ‧mol−1, single-molecule optimization) which ascribed intramolecular C–H⋯O hydrogen bond interaction. Both forms show sensitive tricolor reversible response under mechanical temperature stimuli. Under grinding, they gradually turn into cyan (λ 479 nm) amorphous (SO2-pp-A). This process reversed heating or exposure CHCl3 vapours.

The design of environmentally friendly methods for synthesizing molecular receptors is an expanding area within applied organic chemistry. This work systematically summarizes advances in the mechanochemical synthesis chemoreceptors. It discusses key achievements related to chemoreceptors containing azine, Schiff base, thiosemicarbazone, hydrazone, rhodamine 6G, imide, or amide moieties. Additionally, it highlights application potential mechanochemically synthesized recognition ions and small molecules, along with a discussion mechanisms detection processes.
