This study investigates the synthesis and photoluminescent properties of carbon quantum dots (CQDs) derived from Actinidia deliciosa using hydrothermal method. The effect concentration pH on composition, structure, optical CQDs was analyzed characterization techniques such as TEM, EDS, FTIR, UV-Vis, photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. exhibited particle sizes ranging 1 to 10 nm, with a graphitic structure oxygen-containing functional groups, identified by FTIR bands corresponding OH, C=O, C=C. stability analysis revealed agglomeration over 30 days, increasing size up <40 nm. Regarding properties, displayed absorption peaks at 225 280 nm bandgap ~3.78–3.82 eV. PL demonstrated tunable emission violet green, depending excitation wavelength. synthesized an acidic 2 enhanced luminescence due protonation effects, whereas alkaline led reduction in intensity. method enabled simple eco-friendly synthesis, water sole solvent, yielding stable lifespan exceeding days. Their electronic make them promising candidates for photocatalysis, heavy metal detection, bioimaging applications.
