The possibility of application condensed state physics methods for the study biological objects is considered. object use a cell with liquid crystal as model system - living cell. semiconductor was experimentally investigated by modulation spectroscopy. By determining value electric reflection, it possible to judge about surface polarization crystal. Exposure an field changes energy semiconductor’s zone structure, which leads in optical properties both crystals. To investigate our case, we used method electrolyte KOH , allowed us measure spatial charge. thin layers (up 120 μm) various nematic crystals has shown that at values fields comparable Fredericks transition threshold, orientation angle molecules due interaction external field, and odd electro-optic effect observed. If much larger than threshold transition, moment, depends nonlinearly on predominates even effect. results are proposed be development new drugs materials specified parameters medicine.

The unsatisfactory electro-optical properties of polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) are still an important factor limiting its further development and application, in which high haze off-state, low driving voltage, fast response time have been the goals pursued by researchers. In this work, two types PDLC with different morphologies were prepared, their measured. An optical model for nonsmooth multilayer film was also built. results show that samples prepared hexyl acrylate characterized haze, response. On contrary, isooctyl isodecyl very but poor performance voltage time. Compared traditional means morphology control, present work has advantages a simple preparation method obvious phenomena. It provides crystal/polymer composites meeting requirements future, can be achieved introducing specific monomers.
