Using plant extracts as eco-friendly reducing and stabilizing agents for the synthesis of nanoparticles has gained significant attention in recent years. The current study explores green silver (AgNPs) using Avena fatua extract evaluates their antifungal activity against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici (Fol), a fungal pathogen. Considering the plethora of work on exceptional environmental performance 2D nanomaterials, there is still a missing link in addressing their practical application point-of-use (POU) water treatment.
