There is a growing interest in the utilization of metal oxide nanoparticles as antimicrobial agents. This review will focus on titanium dioxide (TiO2 NPs), which have been demonstrated to exhibit high activity against bacteria and fungi, chemical stability, low toxicity eukaryotic cells, therefore biocompatibility. Despite extensive research conducted this field, there currently no consensus how enhance efficacy TiO2 NPs. Antibiotic residues have become serious health concerns due to the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The treatment antibiotic pollutants in wastewater is necessary for reducing issue resistance. In this work, metal oxide photocatalyst titanium dioxide (TiO2) was evaluated removal tetracycline (TC-A) and deactivation E. coli bacteria (E-B) from wastewater. Based on oxidation process, TiO2 can successfully degrade TC-A with an efficiency up 96.4%. It also employed coli, completely inactivating within 30 min. This study presents effective methods for utilizing the TiO2 photocatalyst in environmental remediation, with a particular focus on removal of carbofuran pesticide (CBFP) from wastewater. Silver (Ag) was selected as potential dopant to improve optical properties well electron-hole pair separation efficiency TiO2. Ag-doped (Ag-TiO2) effectively decomposed 92.8% CBFP under solar light, which significantly higher than that (21.3%). Ag-TiO2 also exhibited good reusability degradation, reduction less 3% after three cycles. In practical applications, successfully degraded 89.3% wastewater and 98.7% surface water. The findings this work bring an method removing pollutants using photocatalyst.
