Semiconductor-based gas sensors hold great promise for effective carbon monoxide (CO) detection. However, boosting sensor response and selectivity remains a key priority in moist conditions. In this study, composite material, Pt quantum dots decorated MoS2 nanosheets (MoS2 /Pt), is developed as highly sensitive material CO detection when facilitated with visible light. The /Pt shows significantly improved (87.4%) impressive response/recovery kinetics (20 s/17 s), long-term stability (60 days), good to at high humidity (≈60%). Double perovskites (DPs) with Cs 2 AgInCl 6 composition, as one of the lead-free perovskites, have been in spotlight owing to their intriguing optical properties, namely, self-trapped exciton (STE) emission and dopant-induced photoluminescence. However, current DPs still face challenge low photoluminescence efficiency cannot be applied practice. Herein, we synthesize Bi 3+ Eu codoped DPs, which displays enhanced STE ions characteristic emissions. Our results indicate that mainly substitute In sites can increase radiative recombination rate binding energy STEs, is discovered promote localization STEs by breaking inversion symmetry lattice. The existence decreases excitation (absorption) energy, provides a new absorption channel, increases transfer ions. Through adjusting concentrations, maximum quantum yield 80.1% obtained 6% 0.5% DPs. Finally, high-quality single-component white-light-emitting diodes based on 410-nm commercial ultraviolet chip are fabricated optimum color rendering index 89, optimal luminous 88.1 lm/W, half-lifetime 1,493 h. In the realm of NH3 gas-sensing applications, electrically conductive nature Ti3C2Tx MXene, adorned with surface terminations such as −O and −OH groups, renders it a compelling material. However, inherent challenges atmospheric instability selectivity in presence gas mixtures have prompted exploration innovative solutions. This work introduces strategic solution through deposition mixed-matrix membrane (MMM) composed poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) matrix zeolitic imidazolate framework-67 (ZIF-67) filler. composite acts selective filter, permitting passage specific gas, namely NH3. Leveraging hydrophobic chemically inert PVDF, MMM enhances stability by impeding water molecules from interacting MXene. Furthermore, ZIF-67 is to via acid–base interactions within zeolite group pore size. The sensor embedded filter exhibits modest 1.3% change sensing response 25 ppm compared without filter. result underscores filter's effectiveness conferring diffusivity, particularly at 35% relative humidity (RH) °C. Crucially, attributes PVDF impart heightened even amidst varying RH conditions. These results not only demonstrate effective detection but also highlight sensor's adaptability diverse environmental conditions, offering promising prospects for practical applications.

It is a novel-effective process for realizing high-efficiency sensing and continuous gas monitoring by introducing precious metals into metal–oxide–semiconductors (MOSs). In this study, Ag exploited to prepare surface functionalized SnO2 nanoparticles (NPs) innovative xAg@SnO2/CsPbBr3, activating catalyzing the reactions on semiconductors. The results show that metal NPs promote directional transport of carriers, thus improving performances. addition, xAg@SnO2/CsPbBr3 composites originated from Ag@SnO2 3-mercaptopropionic acid treated all-inorganic perovskite CsPbBr3 are constructed further accelerate electron transfer heterointerfaces, enabling efficient ethanolamine (EA) at room temperature. properties Ag@SnO2/CsPbBr3 various volatile organic compounds investigated. Compared with pure CsPbBr3, EA response as-prepared 2Ag@SnO2/CsPbBr3 obviously improved about sevenfold. response/recovery time greatly shortened, besides good stability.
