Although solar steam generation is effective in evaporating water and seawater under light irradiation, it ineffective purifying wastewater with organic pollutants. Herein, a morning glory-shaped purification device dry chimney (pistil) designed for simultaneous solar-thermal evaporation of catalytic degradation pollutants therein, which fabricated by decorating Au/CoFe2O4/carbon nanotube functional components on hydrophilic porous bamboo fabric substrate. The demand for environmental monitoring and remediation stimulates tremendous research efforts to develop highly efficient advanced functional nanomaterials capable of combining multiple functions with the arbitrary switching application scenarios. However, there remains a lack an in-depth comprehensive understanding relationship between properties surface structure nanomaterials, which is crucial design nanomaterials. Here, we present feasibility demonstration single ZnO nanorod-based material platform that uniquely synergizes several desired capabilities gas sensing, optoelectronic, photocatalytic applications. In such nanomaterial platform, route elaborate experiments uncover structure–property relationships facet effect in conjunction first-principles density theory calculations, identifying defect effects dominant exposed (100) surfaces hydrothermally synthesized nanorods. smaller diameter higher array remarkably promote exposure area surrounding oxygen vacancy amount as well O2 H2O adsorption. Furthermore, visible light absorption was enhanced by raising valence band maximum position stemming from vacancies. Moisture detection plays a crucial role in physiological monitoring and wearable electronics. Nevertheless, most of the humidity sensors were restricted by power supply, hindering their applicability internet things mobile healthcare. Herein, we reported hierarchical piezoelectric composite film for active biomonitoring. The as-electrospun transducing textile consists samarium-modified lead magnesium niobate titanate piezoceramic fillers polyvinylidene fluoride matrix, while spin coated polyimide serves as sensitive layer. By tuning thickness ratio between layer sensing well porosity electrode, an optimal moisture-sensing performance was accomplished with high response ∼500% rapid response/recovery time 23 s/31 s. Furthermore, theoretical modeling mechanism established combining thermodynamic derivation finite element calculation.

Abstract Skin‐like thermoelectric (TE) films with temperature‐ and strain‐sensing functions are highly desirable for human‐machine interaction systems wearable devices. However, current TE still face challenges in achieving high flexibility excellent sensing performance simultaneously. Herein, the first time, a facile roll‐to‐roll strategy is proposed to fabricate an ultraflexible chalcogenide glass‐polytetrafluoroethylene composite film superior performance. The unique reticular network of endows it efficient Seebeck effect flexibility, leading coefficient (731 µV/K), rapid temperature response (≈0.7 s), strain sensitivity (gauge factor = 836). Based on this high‐performance film, intelligent robotic hand action feedback alarm fabricated, demonstrating its great potential interaction. Such fabrication not only brings new inspiration inorganic devices, but also sets stage wide implementation multifunctional systems.
