In this work, uniform and highly aligned ZnO nanorod arrays were simply synthesized on zinc plates by hydrothermal method using zinc–ammonia complex solution. Effects of seed layer formation, Zn(NO3)2 concentration NH3/Zn(NO3)2 mole ratio (R) in the reaction medium morphology crystal structure nanorods investigated detail. grown surfaces crystalline had a hexagonal wurtzite structure, as revealed XRD analysis. addition, dominant growth direction was c-axis, indicating verticality nanorods. SEM images showed that one-dimensional (1D) with high number density seeded whereas randomly oriented non-seeded surfaces. Increase Zn2+ changed top ends rods from tapering to ends; also led an increase average size The R value (or i.e., amount NH3) caused misalign surface decrease size. well-aligned can be adjusted 50 260 nm diameter 0.11 6 m length changing parameters, implying their large potential used photocatalytic electronic applications.

ABSTRACT This study was designed to improve the sensitivity, specificity, and selectivity of electrochemical method detecting Parkinson's disease by identifying alpha‐synuclein as a biomarker using gold interdigitated electrodes (AuIDEs with without surface modified zinc oxide (ZnO). AuIDE were characterized scanning electron microscope, 3D profilometers, high‐power microscope. Current–voltage measurements performed for antigen–antibody interaction targeted detection Keithley 6482 Picoammeter. The linear range from 1 fM pM. limit detections calculated signal‐to‐noise ratio (S/N) = 3 formula. Linear regression analysis R 2 0.9779. 0.9809. Regression thus yielded better result in AuIDE. For determination selectivity, tau tested on surface‐modified Tau used control variable. However, only produced significant current change, while protein no changes. Hence, inclusion ZnO layer improved sensor's performance sensor reproducible stable after repeated testing.

In this paper, the indentation responses of a piezoelectric semiconductor (PSC) half-space by an insulating and rigid spherical indenter are investigated. It is assumed that contact area between PSC frictionless. Based on Hankel integral transformation, considered problem reduced to pair dual equations. Polarization characteristics of valley and spin using monolayer MoS2 structure modulated by strain DOI

Piezotronics and piezo-phototronics are new emerging fields that have already found applications in nanogenerators, piezoelectric transistors, strain sensors LEDs. The strain-induced potential plays a crucial role modulating charge-carrier transport properties semiconductor materials, especially for two-dimensional (2D) materials. In this work, we theoretically study the piezotronic effect, circularly polarized light Zeeman field's impact on modulation of valley spin monolayer (ML) MoS2 nanoribbon. We create two ferromagnetic regions ML nanoribbon to simultaneously manipulate using externally applied strain. proposed junction MoS2, which consists barriers modulated by strain, field, an intriguing coexistence perfect polarization emerges. Our investigation reveals among these three effects, huge effect leading role.

This paper considers the axisymmetric frictionless indentation responses of a piezoelectric semiconductor (PSC) layer, which is perfectly bonded to rigid substrate and acted on by spherical indenter. While both indenter are assumed be electrically insulating, interaction piezoelectricity semiconducting property PSC fully taken into consideration. By Hankel integral transformation, problem reduced Fredholm equation second kind, solved numerically. The variations force, electric potential contact radius with depth obtained. effects layer thickness, size variation relationships analyzed in detail achieve better understanding response under indentation. Furthermore, theoretical results based singular method verified finite element simulation.
