The review considers the main trends in global energy production and consumption over last half century, based on analysis made by P.L. Kapitza 1975 a unified approach using Umov–Poynting vector. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have transformed sectors, such as agriculture and logistics, requiring accurate environmental sensing for optimal functionality. Among various factors, wind speed direction are vital to flight stability energy efficiency. However, existing UAV anemometer technologies face challenges, including large size, high power consumption, complex integration. In this study, a novel (WSD) sensor, referred WSD-TENG, is introduced based on the principles of triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs). The WSD-TENG consists thin-film TENG integrated with vane detection disk-shaped monitoring direction. An extensive evaluation structural parameters output performance demonstrates its ability function across speeds from 2.6 30.0 m/s 5° resolution in direction, showing stability. exhibits linear relationship between voltage frequency, goodness fit 0.9995, proves strong long-term reliability. Additionally, testing under simulated conditions validates dependability settings. A WSD-TENG-compatible signal processing module has also been developed integration UAVs, enabling application practical operations.

To enhance the operational reliability of wireless power supply systems for transmission line monitoring devices and to facilitate bidirectional communication between transmitter receiver, this study proposes a simultaneous data transfer (SWPDT) scheme employing multi-relay coil configuration. By exploiting multi-resonant behavior inherent in high-order compensation topologies—specifically LCC LCL structures—the proposed system realizes efficient co-transmission energy information. A comprehensive model, alongside an equivalent circuit model communication, is developed capture electromagnetic coupling dynamics within environment. The characteristics both channels are analytically examined, validity methodology substantiated through simulation studies. results confirm that achieves robust delivery while maintaining reliable transmission, thereby offering promising solution deployment high-voltage insulator string scenarios.

Triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG), as a micro-nano power source or self-powered sensor, has shown great prospects in various industries recent years. The TENG output performance is closely related to the contact electrification characteristics of triboelectric dielectric material. Herein, we first introduce relevant fundamental theory and models tribo-dielectrics. Then, material selection, modification method (including surface bulk modification) structural design strategy Surface mainly involve roughness control, functional group regulation, optimization parameters. Electric-field energy harvesters (EFEHs) have emerged as a promising technology for harnessing the electric field surrounding energized environments. Current research indicates that EFEHs are closely associated with Tribo-Electric Nano-Generators (TENGs). However, performance of TENGs in environments remains unclear. This work aims to evaluate electric-field harvesting applications. For this purpose, different sizes, operating single-electrode mode were conceptualized, assembled, and experimentally tested. Each TENG was mounted on 1.5 HP single-phase induction motor, at nominal parameters 8 A, 230 V, 50 Hz. In addition, contact layer linear motor control kinematic stimuli. The successfully induced fields provided satisfactory collect electrostatic charges fairly variable fields. Experimental findings disclosed an approximate increase collection ranging from 1.51% 10.49% when utilizing compared simple EFEHs. observed correlation between power density highlights more efficient source electrified EFEHs, thereby contributing ongoing objectives authors.

Triboelectric nanogenerator-based vibration sensors (TVSs) present a promising approach for online monitoring, offering early detection of excessive vibrations that pose risks to the functionality devices and infrastructure. However, structural design most current TVSs lacks consideration information processing capabilities, resulting in limited bandwidth displacement signal fidelity. This study first introduces quasi-zero-stiffness (QZS) mechanical-computing metastructure aimed at enhancing intelligence extending their bandwidth. The optimization QZS involved adjusting length ratio inclination angle zero-order polynomial beam achieve ultra-low resonant frequencies. results indicate TVS based on (MCM-TVS) is capable efficiently detecting complex random signals, achieving an average measurement accuracy above 85% spectral components signals. Furthermore, sensor exhibited remarkable linearity (99%) measuring amplitude maintained consistent sensitivity (with less than 25.8% fluctuation), facilitating lossless conversion electrical Consequently, this novel incorporating MCM into offers substantial insights advancement high-performance monitoring.
