Magnetic nanomaterials (MNMs) with metallic and semiconducting properties are useful in energy conversion, storage, environmental, biomedical, agricultural applications thanks to their large surface area, charge carrier mobility, optical band structure, non-toxic nature, ability recover recycle. However, poor stability, agglomeration, lack of biocompatibility, fast electron-hole recombination, leaching acidic environments restrict bare MNMs for real-time applications. There several approaches employed overcome these issues, such as elemental doping, defect formation, nanocomposites, functionalization. Among them, functionalization is one the promising techniques alter various specific morphology, size, facet, crystalline phase, electron mobility. Functionalized have been explored areas research, including biomedical environmental MRI, drug delivery, catalysis, solar hydrogen production, sensors, water air purification. In this short perspective, advances strategies modification, amino functionalization, polymer biomolecule were consolidated, reviewed discussed detail.

Marine biofouling negatively impacts marine industries and ship navigation. Liquid-Like Surfaces(LLSs)are expected solve these problems. Abstract It is desirable to develop highly efficient self‐healing polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) elastomers with excellent mechanical properties, which can be solved by introducing dual non‐covalent interactions. However, most of the PDMS reported so far require harsh conditions, while improvement ability often compromises properties.
