Introduction:

Alzheimer’s
disease
(AD)
is
expected
to
triple,
resulting
in
immense
healthcare
costs
and
personal
effect.
In
recent
years,
researchers
have
identified
age-related
hearing
loss
(ARHL)
as
one
most
prevalent
causes
older
adults
be
associated
with
predisposition
for
mild
cognitive
impairment
(MCI)
AD.
However,
relationship
between
two
remains
unclear.
Several
plausible
mechanisms
explaining
this
hearing-cognition
been
suggested,
such
social
isolation,
auditory
activation,
neurobiological
factors.
This
review
seeks
investigate
literature
examining
ARHL
dementia,
how
a
modifiable
risk
factor
plays
role
severity
decline
AD
MCI
population,
advocate

research
on
